Worker Fired After Leaking GTA 6's Miami Beach Ad Campaign on TikTok
Graham Simmon leaked videos of Vice City-themed umbrellas, chairs and cabanas from a $4 million deal between Rockstar and Boucher Brothers — and lost his job over it.
Dexerto reported on October 21, 2026, that an employee of Boucher Brothers was fired after leaking details of GTA 6's Miami Beach marketing campaign on social media, before the gear was even officially rolled out.
A TikTok leak that went viral
TikToker Graham Simmon posted a video showing Vice City-branded beach umbrellas, chairs and cabanas ahead of the material's official rollout, slated for October 15. The original video had fewer than a thousand views, but screenshots and clips spread widely across social media, including a post from the account @GTAVI_Countdown on X (formerly Twitter) showing Rockstar "taking over" Miami Beach with themed umbrellas, chairs and cabanas — the post also noted Boucher Brothers reportedly planned to have security guards watch the equipment overnight to prevent theft.
"Basically, GTA 6 cost me my job"
In a follow-up video posted October 20, Simmon confirmed he'd lost his job and took responsibility for the leak. "I posted it, it had less than 1000 views, and I was told to take them down, and unfortunately for me, people took those and posted them all over the internet," he said. "The company I worked for really didn't like that, so they let me go. Now I'm no longer allowed to work for them. So, yeah, basically, GTA 6 cost me my job." He said he understood the company's decision.
A $4 million campaign
The beach equipment is part of a $4 million deal between Rockstar Games and Boucher Brothers, a Miami beach-services provider, within a broader campaign that has already included ads at the Kaseya Center (home of the Miami Heat), GTA 6-themed artwork on downtown hotel facades, and GTA-branded cars driving around Miami alongside camera crews. Dexerto cites earlier reporting noting the City of Miami itself is pushing for more financial compensation to approve additional advertising, including at Miami International Airport.
